Frame

1 of 1

ROSEYS lenses are fit to each unique vintage frame to make 1 of 1 rose colored glasses for each Participant of Group 1 in THE EXPERIMENT.

See frame specifications above.

Vintage

New, never-worn, preserved vintage designer frames.

Vintage designer eyewear frames made between the 1970s and 1990s.

Each frame is new old stock, sourced from original inventory never sold at retail.

Minor signs of age consistent with preserved vintage storage may be present.

Each pair is selected by The Investigator from established European collectors who source and restore unique frames made with enduring materials designed by iconic names in eyewear.

Authenticity and era validated with industry-standard practices by established vintage collectors.

Refashioned

Lensed, adjusted, polished, and packed by an independent optical partner in San Diego.

Size Guide

Compare measurements to a pair of glasses you already own. The numbers are usually printed inside the arms.

Each frame lists three measurements in millimeters.

Lens: The horizontal width of each lens. Larger numbers = wider frames.

Bridge: The horizontal width between lenses. Affects how the frame sits on your nose.

Arm: The length of the temples. Most adults fit 135-145mm.

Materials

Lens

Made in Italy with ZEISS polyamide for its universal frame compatibility and reduced CO2 emissions.

The entire ZEISS polyamide production chain, from material to lens, uses 100% renewable electricity.

40% bio-based raw materials (from waste produced by the agricultural industry) partially substitute fossil-based material in production using a mass balance approach.

These actions lead to reduced CO2 emissions in polyamide lens manufacturing (up to 50%).

Certified by REDcert2 standard, a European sustainability certification system that verifies all stages of production.

Frame

Materials vary, see specifications and photos above.

Certified by GRS Global Recycled Standard, Textile and Health Association, TF Fashion, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Thread

Sewn with undyed organic cotton thread made in Holland by Scanfill. Certified by Global Organic Textile Standard and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
