When I found the first vintage collector, my first request was for round metal frames. The shape that led the discovery of The Glasses, that made The Observation, that initiated our Alpha and Beta tests. These frames were fit with three lens iterations 1) In December 2023 with a prototype from our San Diego optical partner 2) In February 2024 with the first prototype by ZEISS, fit during our meeting at their factory (note the soldered temple from it breaking this time) and 3) with the final ROSEYS lens. In August 2024, the lenses arrived from Italy and the first batch of frames were being fit by the optical lab in San Diego. The day I visited to document the process, it just so happen mine were next in line and I got to wear them home.
